Studio Policies
Due to studio size and spacing, Heart Exchange Yoga (HEY) allows 11 students to participate in a movement-based class at one time (other specialty classes may vary in spots available). As the studio continues to grow, so do sign-ups for classes. Please review & do your best to respectfully adhere to the policies below.

Walk-ins
​
Although we LOVE to see new faces walk through our door, we are currently requiring all students sign up for classes online prior to practice. All spots are first come, first serve to those who book online, so unfortunately spots for walk-ins are not guaranteed. This goes for events & specialty classes as well.

Cancellation Policy for Regular Classes
Please do your best to cancel your spot 2 hours prior to class start time. It is understood that things happen beyond our control at times, however if you know you are not going to be able to attend a class, please either cancel under “My Bookings” under your account drop down menu, or email hello@heartexchangeyoga.com directly (if you email your cancellation request, please note you will not receive a response).
This goes for AM classes as well. If you know you are not going to make a morning class, please make the decision either the night before, or 2 hours prior to cancel your spot.
If you hold a numbered class pack, then your class will be added back to your class bank.

Waitlist
In the event a class is fully booked, you have the option to join a waitlist. This functionality is only available on an app that HEY does not currently utilize at this time, so please email hello@heartexchangeyoga.com directly to be added to the waitlist. The teacher will add you manually, and you will only receive an email when you have taken a spot. We will do our best to notify you in a timely manner when you have been added to the class. This may be by text as well. If you’ve been added to the class, but for some reason can not attend, please let us know as soon as possible so we can make our way down the list.

Cancellations for Events & Specialty Classes
HEY is always offering monthly events & specialty classes with teachers from all over. These classes typically cost extra and are handled a bit differently than classes on the regular weekly schedule.
For events & specialty classes, it is required that you cancel at least 24-hours prior. This respectfully gives us enough time to fill your spot, and you will be issued a full refund.
If, for some reason, you are unable to cancel 24-hours prior, please do your best to notify us as soon as possible. With an attempt to notify us via email (hello@heartexchangeyoga.com), you will be issued a credit to the value of the class that can be used in the future.

If there is no cancellation or attempt to notify us, this will be deemed a “no-show,” and a refund will be forfeited.
Low Sign-ups for Specialty Classes
With the studio being so new, events & specialty classes are considered trial until they gain traction. If, for some reason, a class has less than 4 signups, we will first attempt to reschedule with a new date (we will do our best to keep same day & time). If you can not attend the reschedule date, let us know and we will issue you a full refund.
If we need to cancel all together with no reschedule date, you will receive a full refund.

That being said, cancellations are a last resort. If you are interested in any of our events, sign up! Don't wait until day of. Booking ahead of time is so appreciated and helps us to keep our system in flow.

Cancellations due to Inclement Weather

HEY Reserves the right to cancel class up to 2-hours prior to start time due to inclement weather, and this will be up to the Owner’s discretion. You will be notified directly via email.
Also, when in doubt, cancel out. We hold the safety of our teachers & students at the forefront when making a decision to cancel class, so please cancel your spot if you know you will not be attending due to weather. If attendance drops below 4 students due to weather, class will automatically be cancelled and you will be notified via email.
